The Wayne Farrington Male Athlete of the Year Award is named in honor of former teacher, coach, Athletic Director and Principal Wayne Farrington. Mr. Farrington coached baseball, basketball and soccer at GPCS and led the 1988 soccer team to the Christian School Soccer League Championship.
Current GPCS Athletic Director Chris Spaulding said, “It is a privilege for
me to be able to honor Mr. Farrington and ensure his legacy lives on for future GPCS student athletes. This year’s recipient of the Wayne Farrington Male Athlete of the Year, is senior Ben Hammond.
